Project Description Heading link

Between 2007 and 2016 deaths from fall-related injuries increased by 31% for adults aged 65 years and older with over 87% of those falls being attributed to walker use. By creating a walker that aids users in standing, we can improve the users’ independence. We can also prevent caretakers from injuring themselves while lifting the user. Our motorized seat is controlled by using push buttons to adjust the position and to set a preferred height to stand from. This customization will allow our device to assist a wide range of users.
