The Smart ID lock will communicate with a computer to determine whether to unlock or lock the door. The LCD tells the users what to do to unlock. The computer reads in a UIN and checks if it exists in the authenticated database and sends a signal to the Arduino to unlock if it is present. The Arduino unlocks the lock and turns the green LED on and the red LED off. The Arduino locks again after reading the input from the motion sensor.
