For our project we are going to make a smart bin with multiple functions such as an automatic opening lid and an LCD that reports the space left in the bin as a percentage. To achieve this functionality we will use 2 ultrasonic sensors as inputs and an LCD, Buzzer and Servo motor as outputs. We will also need a Bluetooth module to achieve communication with a smartphone. The key components that make this project original are the LCD and the communication with the smartphone.
