Through this project, we attempt to simulate a version of collision prevention in cars on a smaller scale. To do this, all pre-existing electronics are stripped out of an RC car and replaced with Arduino microcontrollers and sensors. The collision prevention system is realized through the use of ultrasonic distance sensors in the front and the back of the car. Through the use of this system, the car is aware of its surroundings and thus collisions are prevented.
