Qmulus has designed a smart charger adapter that enables personal electric vehicle charging by converting typical charge stations to smart, connected stations. The adapter will be handled by the user which in turn leads to the possibility of damage due to the impact from a drop. A design for an impact case, which should be recyclable as well as withstand a drop of one meter, has been commissioned. The final design will be made from ABS plastic, which is an affordable, recyclable plastic that is also known for durability and impact resistance. The cover will feature three parts, a top and bottom, with a snap-fit locking mechanism, and PE foam to align the inside of the cover.
