Project Description Heading link

The world record for a high-altitude weather balloon was set by NASA at 30 miles into the atmosphere. We aim to exceed that altitude and capture video footage at the edge of space. We have developed a craft by combining a commercial balloon, custom-made antennas, an electronics payload with video cameras, Global Positioning System (GPS), and an automatic landing system. Limiting factors included budgeting, Federal Aviation Association (FAA) regulations, weather conditions on the day of launch, and thorough documentation and testing. Please review our video to find out if we are the unofficial high-altitude balloon record holders and to see our images of Earth.
