Project Description Heading link

The proposed smart blind attachment system is designed to convert any existing set of blinds into smart blinds, offering convenient, energy-efficient, and affordable control of natural lighting. The system leverages an Arduino kit and a motor to enable remote control, scheduling, and automation of blind movements. The system’s user interface consists of a number pad and a screen that displays the time input given by the user via the number pad. The user can set the desired opening and closing times for the blinds using this interface, allowing for automation of the blind movement throughout the day. This feature is particularly useful for users who wish to schedule their blinds to open in the morning and close at night automatically. The system’s motor is connected to the blind attachment device and is responsible for pulling the blinds open and closed. The motor is controlled by the Arduino kit, which uses the programmed schedules and user inputs to control the blinds’ movements. The motor can be adjusted to suit various blind sizes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of blind models. The system is designed to be easy to install and operate, requiring minimal technical knowledge or expertise. The user can attach the smart blind attachment device to their existing set of blinds, connect the motor to the system, and program the desired schedules and settings using the user interface.
