Project Description Heading link

We are constructing a motor controlled snake toy that doubles as a radar. It can be positioned at the garden or house entrance, transmitting electromagnetic waves and receiving echoes to detect incoming objects. This gadget can be used for safety purposes, like a motion based alarm. This snake also includes an additional feature to detect temperatures of the surrounding area. To implement it, we utilize visual and verbal communication via input devices such as an arduino board, ultrasonic sensor, wires, and switch. Output devices, such as the Servo motors, will rotate 360 degrees while the ultrasonic sensor detects and notifies the appearance of an object.
