We have all kept fish as pets or have had a friend or family member with an aquarium. A very common reason for the death of fish is the temperature and the PH of the water in the aquarium. This is especially true for small aquariums and fish bowls that do not have temperature sensors or filters that keep the water circulating. In such aquariums, the exposure of water to the atmosphere causes it to evaporate, and too low of a water level is not good for the fish also, since such small aquariums do not have sensors, it is hard to track their water parameters. Our project is a tool that will help beginner fishkeepers to monitor the statistics of their aquarium. Our 2 subsystem project will have one subsystem that will host the components that will use different sensors to detect the water level, PH, and water temperature. Once the subsystem takes these readings from the aquarium, it will communicate them to the 2nd subsystem via a Bluetooth module. This subsystem will then analyze these readings and display the appropriate warning messages to the user. Depending on the water level, 3 LEDs (Red, Yellow, and Green) will each glow to indicate how low the water level is. If it reaches a dangerously low level, the Red LED will glow, and also a buzzer will buzz to alert the users immediately. Additionally, there will be an LCD screen that will constantly display all the readings to the user and also any alert messages. This will help new and experienced fishkeepers in taking care of their system
