Project Description Heading link

The United States Adaptive Golf Alliance, an organization dedicated to improving the game of golf for every player, proclaims that over 20 million players exist in the golf world that currently have a physical disability. Our target audience is golf savvy individuals with physical impairments in their lower extremities. We surveyed members of this community to better understand their needs and difficulties when golfing. Based on that feedback, the goal of this project is to make a device that will be portable, possess a time efficient set up, allow the maximum swing capability, and to minimize damage to the course. This device has been designed in accordance with regulations of assistive medical devices. The device uses the golf cart as a main support system, as it will attach to the cart. The creation of this device allows for all players, regardless of physical capabilities, to enjoy the game they love at an affordable price.
