Mail-X: Prevent Theft and Clean Mail

Since the start of 2020, not many people knew we would be living in a world that requires masks and sanitization. Viruses and bacteria can live on mail, and people can become exposed to them without even knowing about it. What if there was a way where we didn’t have to worry about contaminated mail, and what if there was a way to prevent mail theft? Our product aims to sanitize and monitor mail. The device has a camera to view its surroundings, and it features a UV-C light that can kill 99.9% of all viruses and bacteria on any surface. The system also has a tumbler which rotates mail for a thorough UV-C light treatment. A keypad and an LCD screen lets only verified users have access to their mail. Also, the product knows when mail has arrived and it’ll notify its users via push notifications. The mobile application can allow the user to monitor and set specific run times for the whole sanitizing process. Our system is powered by a house outlet, and it runs on an ESP32 microcontroller. The device connects to the cloud, so video footage can be viewed from anywhere in the world. There are no other products out there like Mail-X to keep your mail safe.
