The purpose of this project is to detect extreme temperatures and notify the user that they are unsafe. The Arduino itself will change LED color and make sound depending on the temperature and will allow the user to turn it off if they deem themselves safe. In order to do this, the project will communicate with a user’s device through Wifi or Bluetooth. These project aspects extend the functionality of a standard temperature sensor so that the device itself can assure an user’s safety instead of the user having to read a display to personally determine safe surroundings.
