With the remarkable progress of people’s living standard, lunchtime become more and more significant in their hustle and bustle’s city life. In order to provide a leisure time for students, teachers and white-collar workers, whose lunchtime is limited but for spiritual recovery, our group determined to design an IOT lunch box. This product not only can heat the food or keep the food warm but also is conducive to cooling the drinks or dessert. With the Peltier plate and Raspberry Pi, we are able to achieve the heater or cooler functions and connect also control the lunchbox with the smartphone through Wi-Fi. To be honest, there are more functions it has. On one hand, you can control the lunchbox by using wechat program, which is developed by us, on your smartphone. There are three functions of controlling the IOT smart lunch box. First of all, customers enable to input heating or cooling time on wechat program to commend the lunch box. While heating or cooling work is done, you will receive a message on wechat small program to remind you of enjoying the food. Next, customers can also input desired temperature of the food to control the lunch box. Finally, customers can look up recipes though our wechat smart program. On the other hand, it frees you from the wall plug-in, because we use several power banks to make it more portable and convenient. Moreover, the lunchbox will be applicable when your electronic devices are out of power. What makes our lunchbox unique is you can heat or cool your meal in every scene in your daily life. So it would appear that the IOT lunchbox will be the revolutionary improvement in the lunchbox industry.
