Fingerprint Door Lock with Display Status

The most widely used form of biometrics recognition and validation is fingerprint. Fingerprints can be used for identification of any individual because of its features like uniqueness and non-transferable which allows to accurately track the identity. For this project, we are building a fingerprint recognition lock to use more personally in one’s living space. We are utilizing an Arduino Uno kit, a fingerprint sensor and a door lock. Our final outcome (lock) will get the fingerprint from the user and identify the print if it was stored in advance. If it recognizes the print, it unlocks the door. We have added additional features in this project to make it more creative.
