The idea of our project is to develop an environmental probe that surveys the surrounding area for various environmental variables such as gas, temperature, and pressure. The probe will use various sensors to measure these variables, and will have wheels powered by a motor. The probe will also scan for obstacles with an ultrasonic sensor and notify the user when an obstacle is encountered. The probe will be controlled remotely via PC application using Bluetooth. While the probe is being controlled, the user will receive a live video feed so that the probe is able to be navigated remotely.
