Project Description Heading link

According to the Parkinson’s Disorder Foundation, around 60,000 people are affected by the disorder in the US. More than 10 million individuals worldwide are currently living with PD. According to the results of the surveys we conducted, it was discovered that an individual suffering from neurological muscular disorders spend 30 to 60 minutes trying to feed themselves, with external assistance frequently required. The goal of our project is to provide a cost-effective solution, easySpoon, to those who have been diagnosed with neurological illnesses in order to assist them with their daily meals. easySpoon can react to involuntary movements on the spoon handle, stabilizing the spoon and allowing the user to enjoy their food. Furthermore, because it is an open-source product, customers will be able to 3D print the gadget at their leisure, make changes to the code base for additive improvements, thus making it more accessible for everyone.
