According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, more than 1 million burglaries occurred during 2019 alone, costing those affected more than 3 billion dollars in losses. About 40% of these burglaries were unlawful entries, where the locking mechanism was tampered with before entry. We value our user’s sense of safety and security, and our product aims to decrease the aforementioned burglary rate by a significant amount. We have developed a fast and reliable facial recognition security system which replaces the conventional lock and key mechanism with a digitized version that does not contain a physical lock, meaning that there is nothing to be tampered with. Furthermore, our test shows that our accuracy rate of correctly recognizing a “known face” is greater than 95%, which means that users will not be sacrificing convenience for the sake of security but rather the opposite – it will be easier to enter a building while being safer at the same time.
