Project Description Heading link

We were motivated to create a project that would help alleviate stress over the current pandemic and the continuous increase in worldwide pollution. Many people think of protecting themselves while wearing face masks outside, but not when they’re indoors. That’s where we come in, our goal is to create an affordable DIY air purifier that will help ventilate the air you breathe and give our lungs a nice break with cleaner air. Implementing multiple sensors into our arduino microcontroller will allow for real time updates about the quality of your current room. Our monitoring system will allow users to see the status of the current indoor air quality, along with automatically turning on after receiving a certain amount of contaminated air. We plan to lower the room’s air quality index to a safe level from 0 to 50. Overall, we hope to create a purification system that is effective, efficient, and affordable.
