We will be designing and creating a device to measure the noise level in a room in decibels. The device will use 3 LED’s, and an LCD display to alert the user of the current noise level. A microphone will be used to capture the sound in a room and the LCD will be powered on and off using a remote connected with an IR receiver. A potentiometer will be used to adjust LCD screen brightness.
