CS.82 – The snack vending machine with size options a way to combat food waste

The world generates 1.3 billion tons of food waste in a year alone. Our goal is to include size options in our vending machine as a way to combat food waste. The snack vending machine that we will be making will be using sensors, and a keypad. By using 2 Arduino kits we will be able to attach external devices like a keypad, sensors, leds, and buttons, and a snack vending component we will be building using hardware store components.
