This project comes to our support in times of situations like Covid to have some resiliency measures against it. The scenario could be of an office setting where entrance to a cabin could have the needed arduino setup with required sensors to measure temperature/humidity of a visitor and alert using the other arduino placed somewhere on a desk approachable to you. This device secretly keeps you secure by retrieving and displaying accurate proximity of the prospectively sick visitors at your door. This device eliminates the hassle of stopping each visitor at the door for a temperature check and is a fast and effective way of screening people without disturbances. The purpose of this arrangement is to be discreet yet effective in screening individuals who enter a room/building or any other environment without causing disturbances or unease to the surrounding people. This also eliminates the hassle of stopping each visitor for a temperature check which we usually go through while visiting, for example, the UIC bowling alley or the UI Health help desk. Besides being hassle free this setup also refrains the visitors from queuing up at the entry, potentially causing overcrowding.
