Project Description Heading link

The main objective of this project is to build an acoustic smart clock which will allow the user to play their favorite music to wake up. The songs will be played based on the Spotify API, with the discretion of the user in knowing what type of music they like to listen daily. The components that are required to implement this project include the following: three laptops, three Arduino UNO boards with respective USB cables, three breadboards, one LCD, five pushbuttons, one potentiometer, two sound speakers and jumper wires. The system will be divided into three subsystems – the first subsystem will contain three push buttons; the second subsystem will contain two push buttons and one potentiometer; the third subsystem will contain one LCD screen and two sound speakers. Each subsystem in this project represents a particular purpose for the user to use the contraption properly. The first subsystem serves as the input to control the alarm – the first subsystem to set an alarm, and the second subsystem to snooze or stop the alarm. The third subsystem serves as the output – this allows the user to see the time and hear the alarm through the LCD screen and two sound speakers.
