Our idea for the project is to build a project tracking covid data by country (or whatever is publicly available), and allowing the user to select and view graphs and data with arduino hardware. Our form of communication will be mainly over serial between arduino and the PC, and hardware controls for the user frontend. We plan to communicate using covid-tracking APIs like CKAN_API, along with building out Arduino hardware as necessary, such as using LCD screens to display numerical information as well as visualization of cases and buttons to control what data should be presented.
