Project Description Heading link

The idea for this project is to build a device that detects the color of small objects, places objects of the same color in a container, then display the color’s name and number of elements. The device will use two Arduinos. The first Arduino will be in charge of color detecting and placing an object in a container. The second Arduino will display the color’s name and number of elements. Both Arduinos will communicate with each other via serial communication. The input/output devices for this project will be one color sensor, two servo motors, a switch, a power jack and an LCD display. This project involves original work because this applies the principle of large machines used in the food industry. For instance, machines in the food industry can be used to separate fruit from small debris and leaves.
