Project Description Heading link
Project is developed for the common household as a means of backup communication in the event of an emergency. Consisting of a box that houses electronics that the user can interact with and allows the user to send a concise yet descriptive message to predetermined emergency services and people. The user interfaces with a biometric scanner to determine identity and buttons to send a distress message based on certain emergencies. The transmission of the message is completed through a GSM module which transmits the data as an SMS. LEDs denote successful transmission to the users. LCD displays user message information.
