Community gardens are an integral part of society as they promote sustainability, physical exercise, healthy eating, and food security. Although fostered by entire communities, these gardens are prone to failure due to the inability to maintain a healthy garden and limited knowledge about plant care. We have designed a device to take the guesswork out of plant-based nurturing so users can deliver optimized care to their gardens. We provide accurate feedback regarding watering, light exposure, temperature, and pH balance of the soil. Users will be able to interact with the device via a phone application and receive live updates on the plant health. In addition, users can review supplementary information about the plants they are growing.
