The United States EPA says that roughly 75% of the waste generated is recyclable, however only about 30% of it is actually recycled. A major reason as to why items are not recycled is due to the fact that many people mindlessly throw away garbage without thinking or even looking at what type of bin they place the item in. Our solution is to provide the customers with a machine which will automatically sort their garbage. In short, an end-user would simply throw away a piece of garbage into the assistant garbage can and then the item would be sorted accordingly. The name of the garbage can speaks for itself, it will assist you in separating garbage and keep the environment clean! Our product could be modified in the future with additional smart features such as the ability to prepare the garbage bag for disposal.
