“The smart traffic light system is an innovative project that uses two Arduino boards to automate traffic flow and improve safety for both vehicles and pedestrians. The system is equipped with sensors that detect the presence of vehicles and pedestrians, and adjust the timing of the traffic lights accordingly to minimize congestion and improve safety. The addition of a pedestrian button allows pedestrians to safely cross the street when they need to. The system uses LED lights to indicate when it is safe for pedestrians to cross, and includes logic to prevent pedestrians from crossing when it is not safe. The code for the system is written in Arduino IDE and includes several libraries for managing the sensors, LED lights, and buttons. The project demonstrates how technology can be used to improve safety and efficiency in our cities.
